Photography for me is a way to express myself. It helps me slow down and see the world's beauty. It helps me to relax and reconnect with nature.
My passion for photography started as a teenager when I received my first camera - a fully manual Pentax K1000 SLR. I remember the excitement of taking pictures and anxiously waiting for the film to be developed. I'd rush to the store to get my pictures after the customary 3 days wait. Oh the suspense. Now we have the luxury of instantly viewing our pictures on the digital screens of camera today.
Over the years I've learned so much about photography and what it means to me.
To further my passion, I sometimes use Photoshop, which makes it possible to achieve an art-form allowing me to enhance my creativity and convey the personality of the image.
